Smoke In The Pit, Inc. was founded in 1998 in MPLS, MN as a restaurant that dedicated Itself to the perfection of smoked meats and southern style side dishes.
From September, 1998 until August, 2000 SITP was located at 500 E. Lake Street. However, after negotiations failed over the commercial property; SITP was forced to dissolve itself until adequate arrangements could be found.
The birth of the new and improved SITP is located at 3733 Chicago Ave. MPLS, MN 55426 The owners; Dwight & Ivy Alexander continue to cultivate their community presence through outreach and nonprofit events. Allowing passion to lead them; the Alexander's bring an array of expertise to the forefront of service.
Dwight, specializing in recipe development; is absolutely ferocious about quality control and consistency. He diligently seeks to achieve the impossible; while encouraging others to believe in themselves.
Ivy; holding a Bachelor's degree in Economics with the drive only a Master Sergeant can exude; streamlines the financing and ensures the systems and procedures are executed. For her, every day is another opportunity to achieve greatness. She is a constant example of dedication and servitude. Together they strive to guarantee the best SITP has to offer.
Smoke In the Pit, Inc., has captured the hearts of many with a tender and seasoned variety of taste; prepared from Littlerock, AK Family recipes. They both bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in customer service, management, and finances. Above all they spend their days in constant servitude to those around them.
The ultimate goal is to leave a legacy that truly speaks to the Alexanders giving nature and increasing the quality of life experiences; one person at a time.
